Don't Call Them; They'll Call You

CEOs of DoD and intel-focused contractors have a new resource to help navigate the market. From the folks who brought you Mindshare, it's MissionLink, an invitation-only community of interest for CEOs of national security-focused companies. Earlier today. we sat down with its organizers: Benchmark Executive Search’s Jeremy King, Dutko’s David Beightol, Cooley’s Andrew Lustig, Argy’s Stephen Ritchey, and KippsDeSanto’s Marc Marlin, who tell us the new program starting in October will feature a hand-picked class of 50 CEOs that will use the eight classes to hear from renowned industry and government speakers, share best practices, and network. “Our hope is that bringing these kinds of high quality leaders together to discuss best practices will pave the way for creating a more efficient, effective and cost-conscious way of doing business,” Andy says.

David is telling everyone how good Wisconsin football will be this year. MissionLink is focusing on seasoned executives from companies with game-changing technologies that are either mid-market or already at a few hundred million in revenue. As David puts it, “Federal contracting is so much about partnering. and we’re thinking that this group can lead to a lot of B2B business from companies who previously didn’t know they existed.” On the fun side, Andrew Lustig just got back from the Outer Banks, while Marc is taking his daughter this weekend to move in at Penn State.
